Marshmallow and Strawberry trifle
Description:
Delicious Strawberry and Marshmallow Trifle
Ingredients:
4 Slices Swiss roll
4 Tablespoons sherry or orange juice
75g / 3oz Princess Pink and White Marshmallows, halved
100g / 4oz Strawberries, sliced
1 pack Strawberry jelly, prepared as per instructions
FOR THE TOPPING
1-2 tablespoons per dessert Prepared cold custard, yogurt, fromage frais, and/or lightly whipped cream.
Preparation:
Place a piece of Swiss Roll in the base of four dessert dishes (or one large serving dish)
Pour the sherry or juice over and allow it to soak in
Top with the Princess Pink and White Marshmallows and the strawberries, but don't forget to keep a few back for decoration!
Divide the prepared jelly equally between the dishes and allow to set
Once set, spoon over your favourite topping, add the remaining strawberries
