Tangerine Confectionery is set to unleash a new must-have kids' range onto the confectionery market, under its renowned Barratt brand.
Spogz will form a brand in its own right as part of Barratt, one of the leading names in the kids’ confectionery category, and is designed to appeal to the active imaginations of kids, with its sour and fruity flavours, bursting liquid centres, fizzing sherbets and creepy shapes.
Comprising initially of five products, the range includes Gumbugs and Taddlers – fruit flavoured jellies, Hot frogs -fruit flavoured jellies with liquid centres, Fizzoids – a lemon and lime lolly with a sour lemon sherbet dip, and Lizards Tails – sour cola candy sticks.
All of the products in the range are British manufactured, and of the highest quality, containing all natural colours and flavours in line with consumer demand for healthier confectionery and Tangerine Confectionery’s business commitment to converting its portfolio of brands.
Helen Hartley, group marketing manager at Tangerine Confectionery, said: Barratt is the number two best-selling kid’s confectionery brand*, with a variety of long-standing consumer favourites that have significant retro appeal. We now feel that there is a strong opportunity to reinvigorate the kid’s confectionery market with something contemporary, fun and edgy from Barratt, which is specifically targeted at kids of today and equally as impressive as our existing offerings.”
